I started this blog because I’ve reached a point in life where I’m no longer asking for permission to be who I am. I’ve lived, created, and kept a lot of my light tucked away behind the scenes. But now—it’s time to share it. This space is about the messy beauty of midlife, where laughter, creativity, and truth-telling matter more than ever.
It was inspired by a phrase I wrote in my journal: Kitchen Closed. That became a symbol for boundaries, for self-care, and for reclaiming time for the things that feed my spirit—painting, storytelling, and encouraging others.
