Know Your Worth and Hangout with People who value you!

I saw something on Facebook the other day that really stopped me in my tracks. It was about a bottle of water.

In the grocery store, that same bottle of water might cost $1.
At the gym? $2.
In a hotel? $5.
At the movie theater? $8.

Same water. Same bottle.
The only thing that changed was where it was sold.

That hit me. Hard.

It made me think about how women — especially in midlife — are often valued (or undervalued) based on where we are and who we’re with.
Around our children, we’re sometimes seen as the $1 bottle — expected, familiar, even taken for granted.
In a marriage or relationship, maybe we bump up to $2 or $3 — appreciated, but still discounted.
With friends? Hopefully, the value rises — maybe $5, maybe more — especially when we’re seen, heard, and celebrated.

But the real takeaway is this: your worth doesn’t change, only how others perceive you!

So, find your people — the ones who would gladly pay $8 just to sit next to you, have lunch with you, listen to your heart, and be in your presence.
Because you’re rare. You’re sacred. You’re worthy of every drop of love and respect.
