Making Motivation Roll
I don’t know what it is about convenience that drives me, but here’s the thing: the clubhouse gym is just two streets over. I walk the dogs by it twice a day. But the idea of walking there to walk on a treadmill feels… daunting.
Enter the scooter. Richard bought this little Razor scooter with a seat, and I love it. I hop on, zip right to the gym door, walk 30 minutes, then scooter back home—straight into the garage and through the back door. Workout over. Boom.
We have larger scooters in the shed, but dragging them out feels like a whole production—shed door, gate, cords—it’s enough to talk myself out of it.
So I told Richard how much I love the garage scooter system, and he smiled and said, “I knew once you tried it, you’d be hooked.”
He’s right. A second scooter is arriving Monday. And I might just ride it straight into a new habit.
